Hi, we're Jacob and Samuel. With over 50 years in the diamond business, it's time for us to retire.

Our father started this in Antwerp in 1951. We grew up in this room. Jacob learned the stones. Samuel learned the people. That's how it worked for five decades.

We opened Jacob & Samuel Diamonds in New York in 1976. Jacob inspects every piece with the same loupe he's used since day one. Samuel chose every client personally. We never advertised. We never needed to.

Over the years we watched something that always bothered us. Women would walk past jewelry stores, stop for a second, look through the glass — and keep walking. Not because they didn't want it. Because they didn't think it was for them.

That stayed with us.

We are in our seventies now. We don't need the money. We don't need to protect the price. What we need, before we close this door for the last time, is to know that these pieces ended up on the right wrists. On the right hands. On women who deserved them all along and never got the chance.

Every woman deserves to feel like that. To walk into a room and know she is wearing something real. Something that took fifty years to find its way to her.

This is our final collection. No restock. No reopening. When these pieces are gone, we are gone.
